Final assessment

K1)Self Regulation: I am always in class on time, with everything I need. To be honest, most of the time I get off task and socialize too much with my peers. Most of my work is handed in on time, but sometimes in class when I get off task, and save it for homework and I get too lazy to do it at home so it's usually like a day or 2 late. I think that my biggest distraction are the people in my group, and that I should either move somewhere else and/or ignore them. I think that my attitude towards the class is good, I'm nice towards everyone, if anyone wants to share my device with me if they dont have one, I usually let them.
I take time to edit my blog if I need to 25/33

2) the plo I can do are
B2: read, both collaboratively and independently, to comprehend a variety of information and persuasive
texts with increasing complexity of ideas and form, such as
– Articles and reports
– Biographies and autobiographies
– Textbooks, magazines, and newspapers, etc
C1 write meaningful personal texts that elaborate on ideas and information to
– Experiment
– express self
– make connections
– reflect and respond
– remember and recall
A8 speak and listen to make personal responses to texts, by
– making connections with prior knowledge and experiences
– relating reactions and emotions to understanding of the text
– generating thoughtful questions
25/33

3)I think I learn from a whole lot of people in my class. Before writing a blog I go and read my peers blogs to get an idea of how I should write mine. I think that I learn better from my peers when they comment on my blog and tell me how I can improve it. I also comment on many of my classmates blogs and help them edit their blog.25/33

Overall I think the mark I deserve is 75/100

  1. Thanks Jasmine. I am happy to hear you have been learning from as many sources as possible. Your missing examples for the PLOs is a good example of an area you can keep working at. i believe you have good intentions, however, quite often your written work is superficial and missing major aspects of the requirements. I think your attitude and honest look at how often you got distracted, combined with your need for growth in your writing keeps you from being a B student. I will however agree to a C+. I think moving forward in English 11 you will really need to focus on concentrating during theme discussions so your writing is more than the surface ideas you hear from peers. :)
